Melbourne’s own PERUW joins the Lo-Fi-45 fold with his new EP.

Already a feature on the local scene, Peruw has showcased his raw talents on local labels Smashbang, Suck Music and Conspiracy and we’re thrilled to continue his journey here at Lo-Fi-45.

“Lethargic” is a tech house cut with a deep emotive motif. Sparing percussion frames the tune with an ethereal atmosphere haunting the foreground and a cloaked, ghostly female vocal whispering her sweet nothings underneath.

”Left” is a groovy, rubbery tune with more of that wonky bounce we love so much here at Lo-Fi-45. Each sound is carefully selected and well defined to create a swaggering rhythmic air with an old school speakeasy vibe. Imagine secret passwords, cabaret and a sleazy underground bar where the nightlife is rife and the music is forbidden.

“Chi” boasts a minimalist vibe with an unusual progression of fluctuating and wavering rolls and loops that ring out into the night. It’s wistful, winding, imaginative and outspoken, leading from light to dark at every corner.
